This week's show starts with a forum on Media Consolidation that took place last week at Ithaca College. Among the participants were dissident FCC commissioner Michael Copps and Ithaca's member of Congress Maurice Hinchey, who has introduced a bill that if passed would take steps to diversify media ownership and reinstitute the fairness doctrine. Then an interview with John Buchanan, author of Fixing America: Breaking the Stranglehold of Corporate Rule, Big Media and the Religious Right.
