Download Hour1 Download Hour2First, a panel on US foreign policy with 4 speakers sponsored by Fingerlakes Green Party. Second, a report from Palestine with Audrey Stewart and Grace Ritter.
We start with Kevin Dunn, an African foreign policy scholar, speaking on the real purposes of the US war on Afghanistan, asks "How has the US National Interest been defined, since 1945?" He gives multiple examples of US foreign policy rhetoric used to obscure a larger agenda which though obvious internationally was never mentioned domestically. We then hear from Bill Griffin, who looks at the rhetoric used in response to the September 11th attacks, and addresses the unspeakable cause behind US's unpopularity in the world - its determination to further the inequitable agenda of economic globalisation whatever the cost.

Dr. Bealo starts out second hour, speaking about understanding the September 11th attacks.

Community forum on the myths and realities of US foreign policy and the war on terrorism in Auburn, NY.
